Woman's Body Lay in Liverpool Park Bin Bag 'For Weeks'
The body of a woman believed to be in her seventies may have lain in a black bin bag in the walled garden of Liverpool’s Stanley Park “for a number of weeks” before a member of the public found it on Friday, detectives said. The woman has not been identified — police describe her as white, around 5ft 2in, with strawberry blonde hair and a distinctive pink Nike t-shirt — and post-mortem results are being withheld. A mobile police station has been set up in the park.
