Farage and Tice Sue the NCA Over Data Leak

Nigel Farage and Richard Tice, the leader and deputy leader of Reform UK, have launched High Court action against the National Crime Agency over an alleged leak of their confidential financial information. The case adds to a running saga over Mr Farage’s banking arrangements, which began when a bank closed his accounts in a row that ultimately cost its chief executive her job. Reform, riding high in the polls for much of the year, has sought to turn questions about its own finances into a story of establishment overreach against it. A legal fight with the country’s lead agency on organised crime is unusual and politically charged. The claim will test how confidential financial information is handled by state bodies. Watch what the court makes of the allegations and whether the NCA is found at fault.
