US Strikes Iran for a 13th Night as Trump Vows More Pain
American forces bombed Iran for a thirteenth consecutive night, US Central Command said, striking command centres, drone sites and coastal targets around Bandar Abbas and Khuzestan. Iranian authorities said at least four people were killed and five injured in an overnight strike near Ahvaz. President Trump signalled no let-up, telling Axios that Tehran “haven’t received enough pain yet” and that he was weighing “a massive attack… bigger than ever before”.
Central Command said the campaign was designed to keep degrading the Revolutionary Guard’s ability to threaten commercial shipping. Iran’s army, meanwhile, claimed it had launched drone strikes on American bases in Bahrain and Jordan in retaliation — assertions Washington has not confirmed and which echo unverified claims made earlier in the week. Mr Trump repeated that the United States would inflict “major military punishment” on Iran for any further Houthi attacks on Gulf shipping. With no ceasefire in sight and Brent oil hovering near $100, the risk of a still-wider war is climbing. Watch whether the President orders the escalation he keeps threatening.
